I didn't even finish the three first books, I gave up midway. It is truly an unbelievable story (or stories I should say). Does she really fall in love with every single one of her clients? ...They are way better books than this series.

Refreshing, funny and interesting regarding friendly and romantic relationships.The main character is endearing.I am looking forward to reading the next volume.
Awful. This is NOT romance, in any way, shape or form. NOT AT ALL. It should NEVER be listed in 'romance'. Each 'month' is the main character with another guy. And WITH being the key word. It's porn, plain, simple. No emotion, no feeling, no character building, nothing of substance ecept endless descriptions of sex, sex, sex. Language is crude. Sorry, but how many times can I read about him going down on her??? Seriously???. And of course, ALL the men are super rich and can't get women on their own, so have to hire one. And they are awesome, mind-blowing (among other things) in bed. How? They are soooooooo good looking and well...endowed, yet they can't get a 'regular' woman? Please. And the main character...omg, really? All she does is whine about their money and then can't wait to create porn with the next guy. Plus, each 'book' cliff hangs to make a reader buy the next. Forget it. If I want porn stories I'll get a magazine. This should NEVER EVER NEVER be in the 'romance' category. It's Porn. Erotic porn and nothing else.
I have read all four books but this review is only for the first one (January, February, and March). Mia is a spunky 25 year old beauty that is in a financial bind and is trying to right by her sister and her father - the man who got into a million dollar debt. The first month in, she was already in love with her first client. I loved Wes and my heart broke a little that she didn't stay with him but then again, the series would end. She moves onto her next client, a hottie French man named Alec who photographs and paints her as his muse. The sex is beyond hot and a little taboo. The March man is a hottie but he's gay and I found this client a bit boring and it seemed like it was more of the author's personal agenda. However, it was heartfelt and overall, the first three months had me addicted to Mia's story especially when she has a surprise visitor at the end of March join her in bed.
I love the story of Mia. It's definitely worth the journey. Let me go month by month to explain my thoughts.With January, it brought tragedy with her father being in a coma, to having to work for her aunt to pay her father's $1,000,000 debt to loan sharks. So as a new escort for exquisite escorts, Mia meets Weston Changing the third! Super hot movie star, surfer, Malibu Ken! She wasn't to fall in love but she did and she fell hard. But rather than admit to it she plans to pay her father's debt and revisit this love thing in a year. So she leaves Wes hanging at the end of January.February Mia meets up with Alec. A French artist who wants her as his muse for the month. Alex starts pulling back the layers that are Mia and shows her true beauty and different versions of love. It's then Mia realizes she needs this journey to find herself.March brings in Tony and Hector. She's to play the part of fiancee to Tony while he keeps his sexual orientation a secret. The only thing is Mia learned a lot from her time with Alex and she wanted to spread what she learned. And no one was happier than Mia when Tony went public with his relationship with Hector. It truly shows that love comes in different packages.All in all I loved the first volume of Calendar girl. It was funny, raw emotion, and down right sexy.
I liked the concept behind this story. I think it could be a lot better with a little more plot and not quite so much sex. The way Mia was ready to have sex with each guy within hours of meeting them was rather off-putting. I would maybe read the rest of the series if they were half the price, just to see what the rest of the year was like for her, but $9 for an ebook is several dollars past my budget. (Yes, I'm a bit cheap.) I got volume one for free during a promotion.
I love how strong willed and fearless Mia is. She sacrificed so much for her father and sister to have a good life. In January she met Wes who offered to pay off her debt but she wouldn't have it and that is what makes me admire her so much more. This is her battle and life journey and she would go through with it without taking help from the guys she's met in January, February and March.Wes, Hector and Tony characters connected with me however I failed to find a connection with Alec. It just wasn't there.Overall the book was superb and the writing was fantastic. I admitted I learned a few new words from Audrey's writing and that was a big plus for me also.I can't wait to read the rest of Mia's journey and hopefully,I am keeping my fingers crossed,that she goes back home to Wes after her twelve months of escorting is over.
